AHHHHH CAN. YOU. BELIEVE. CHRISTMAS. IS. IN. FIFTEEN. DAYS.
BECAUSE IT IS!
It honestly still feels like November!!!
Man! I haven't written something in a while! Thanks for being patient! As we round out things before the new year - whether it be unit tests, secret santas, etc, I hope we'll all remember to enjoy this time! Take a deep breath! The Christmas break is almost here! (and unfortunately falls on the day before Christmas Eve so we'll TOTALLY have enough time to do everything. TOTALLY.)
Whoever decided THAT is really getting on my nerves.
So, just a short thing: Isn't it weird how you can rhyme in another language? It's kind of astounding, how there are so many different ways of saying "I love you" in this world. So many phrases for "how do you do?", not just in English but all across the globe! On this Earth, with so many cultures, so many dialects, so many people, we find a way to coexist, even though we'll sometimes never know what's on the other side of the horizon. It's amazing! It's like when your on youtube looking up random videos and then suddenly you enter that zone where all the comments and suggested videos are in French and you know you've just wandered in too deep but you kind of feel like you want to challenge yourself today and don't wanna leave? Yeah. It's strange though.
Especially rhyming! Like, check out this:
LIKE!?!?!? It's so haunting and beautiful and lovely and it's like, you understand it because of the subtitles and though you can try, it just can't sound the same way in English??? And this song doesn't even originally have vocals so you can really come up with whatever you want but songwriting, poetry writing, writing in general in different languages is like, the most baffling thing and most astounding thing ever and I am just in awe of it all.
AND SORRY FOR A MOMENT BUT CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE LEGEND OF ZELDA OST??? I GOT INTO THE WHOLE THING LIKE TWO MONTHS AGO AND I PLAYED PARTS OF OCARINA OF TIME AND I JUST REALLY WANT TO READ AND PLAY AND WATCH AND LISTEN TO THIS WHOLE SERIES BECAUSE IT'S SO AMAZING AND AHHHHHHHHHHH
What we're not going to talk about is me watching the 81 part full game walkthrough of Ocarina of Time. Nope we're not going to talk about that. (But why didn't I just skip the gold skulltulla killing like honestly lots of those parts were kind of unnecessary.)
Just wondering did anyone else get some really helpful songs like the Sun Song or Epona's Song and just kind of couldn't get past anything because of that. Like, I got decently far, if I do say so myself but HOW COULD I HAVE NOT GOTTEN THE FREAKING SUN SONG SO MAD and now I can't play it cause I borrowed the 3DS and agg....
OK SORRY MY LAMENT IS OVER MOVING ON.
Well, speaking of recent things I've been into, I've finished the first season of Haikyuu and is currently about a third of the way into the second season and MY GOODNESS I DIDN'T KNOW I'D LIKE IT THIS MUCH BUT I DO!!!
Kageyama's hair bothers me so much but I shall endure...
ALSO If you want to watch some other animes, one of my friends introduced me to "Kiss Him, Not Me" AND IT IT THE MOST. I CAN'T EVEN. IT'S JUST. YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT TO UNDERSTAND. JUST. GAH.
And I recently finished "Snow White With the Red Hair" as well! It's kind of lame, but it's really cute as well, the art work is really pretty and the characters are pretty good and funny. It's kind of like a retold fairy tale, and since that was the kind of thing my novel "Aurora" was going for, it was a pretty good inspiration. The main character was interesting, but it honestly would have been since to have her grow and change some more throughout the course of the series. It was really good though. So check it out!
I'll be in with another post in a couple minutes so farewell until then!
