Hello everybody! It is currently day 3 of utter torment and tears. How are we all doing.
I'm on ywp.nanowrimo.org, so if you're around I might see you in the forums!
Well, you may or may not be happy to know (or care) that I FINALLY CHOSE THE IDEA TO GO WITH (yesterday)
So here's the synopsis for my novel "AURORA", a spin on the classic fairy tale, Sleeping Beauty
"Princess Aurora has a lot of things going for her. As a baby she was granted extraordinary gifts from the most powerful fairies in the world - but was it a blessing or a curse? Now her very existence is shaking the delicate balance between humans and fairy-folk, and everything she knows could crumble in an instant. Haunted by her mother's lullaby and running from a heartbroken father, she can't help but think it was all a mistake. She has to do something, she has to be someone.
Humans weren't made for immortality.
Because even though it seems she's surpassed the string of fate, she's still bound to its fabric as it spins the path she's destined to walk when everyone she's known has faded away."
Hehe, whadduya think? There's a cool forum topic that lets you post your story synopsis and other NanNoWriMo writers can say whether or not they would buy your book if they saw it at a bookstore.
I strongly suggest anyone who's writing this year to enter the 30 Covers, 30 Days competition! It'll definitely boost your morale and encourage you to keep up the writing!
I'll be back soon! Probably after I finish my homework and get on with my word count goal...
Have a good one!
