(I wrote this in October of last year...

HA. Ha. ha...

Why seven?

Cause it's my favourite number and ten is boring and too long so I'll just get on with it. )

This is in no order whatsoever.

Except for number 1.

(this beautiful fanart right below comes from this lovely person right here to I'd recommend you go check them out cause EVERYTHING'S SO PRETTY)

1. ANTHONY LOCKWOOD

Series: Lockwood and Co

Author: Jonathan Stroud

Lockwood and Co is a psychic investigation agency, situated in the heart of London, it's also the smallest in the city, composed of exactly three members: Anthony Lockwood, George Cubbins and Lucy Carlyle. Four decades ago, what became known as the "Problem" has been plaguing the streets on England - ghost hauntings, the violent and restless undead, and for some reason, only children have the ability to sense them. So as young children and teenagers pull all-nighters and risk their lives on a daily basis, adults are screaming at the slightest chills, never leaving home without something silver or a spritz of lavender perfume, tossing salt over their shoulder all the way out the door.

Lockwood has to be my favourite character of all time and I cannot lie about this. The way he interacts and leads his team, his mannerisms, quirks, and just - here are some quotes: (the books are written in Lucy's perspective by the way. She is also definitely one of my favourite characters, however, I tried to keep it at one character per universe, so unfortunately, she is not on this list. though, I may attempt a character analysis in the future!)

"Can I offer you some tea while you ransack our place?" Lockwood asked politely.

"Don't look at his face," George said. "Okay, I'm going in close," Lockwood said. "Let's all keep calm. Aaah! Something's got me!"

Twin squeals of iron: George and I had drawn our rapiers. I flicked my flashlight beam at Lockwood, who was frozen beside me, staring.

I flicked it off again.

"Nothing's got you," I said. "Your coattail's caught on a gooseberry bush."

"Oh, fine. Thanks."

"You want some orange juice, Lucy? It's your favourite, the kind with pulp."

"Lucy doesn't like orange juice with pulp." George said. "Remember?"

"Oh, yes, that's right. It gets caught between your teeth, doesn't it?"

I was staring at him. My warm feeling had partially retreated. "I'll take the juice. So Holly stayed over last nigt?"

"Personally, I always thought straining it through your teeth is part of the fun," Lockwood said. "You can pretend you're a blue whale." He caught my look. "What?"

Kipps and Geoge stood glumly by, each with a slightly harried look.

I sat on a bar stool next to Lockwood. "I take it you took the cot," I said.

He nodded. "Leader's prerogative."

Haha sorry, got carried away there.

You know what.

I'll just end this post there.

That's it.

Lockwood's my favourite character.

End of story.

Good day to you all.

(i know, i know, what was I thinking. But I realized I haven't formally introduced this series yet and i thought, "how ghastly!" considering it's my favourite of all time! So here's a little to hopefully peak your interest. I will be back soon...)
